But it turns out, Mom is a registered sex offender, after having a sexual relationship with a 14 year old boy. Last night, flipping through the channels, Jimi came across a HLN spot on the story. One of the female anchors declares, "Oh, she's not REALLY a sex offender; I mean, she did a horrible thing, having sex with a 14-year-old child, but still..."
Cable news is like an extended, all-day TV Talk Show - the worst parts of Jerry Springer, Steve Wilkos, Maury, and Tyra, all rolled into one 24-hour feed. It's no wonder our nation is full of idiots.
