Blogging on the go? Can that be a thing? Probably not. There just aren't enough hours. Today it's a thing though. Look! Words! Blog!
I want to be a woman who does things. Blogging. Cooking. Painting!
I bought canvases and oil paints and a wooden pallets and some brushes and a desktop easel. I know nothing about oil painting. This should be interesting. I've wanted to paint with oils my whole life. Time to make it happen. I'm not getting any younger.
What are you doing today? If you weren't doing that, what would you rather be doing?
I'm sad. As lame as this sounds, one of my friends is getting married and he invited pretty much everyone else but me. People have been talking about it all week and I even helped him with advice since he's getting married at the same place as I. Normally I don't care if I don't get invited, but this time it kind of hurt my feelings and this feeling kind of sucks.
ReplyDeleteMy feelings would be hurt too. I'm sorry you're sad. Be really nice to yourself today and do things you enjoy to take your mind off the sad. And try not to be mad at your friend. The guest list has to end somewhere, and maybe he didn't realize how much you wanted to attend. Hope your day gets better!
ReplyDeleteHave you tried them out yet? How did it go? Oils are TRICKY!
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried them yet. Honestly, I'm considering sending back and getting acrylics instead. I don't know if I'm disciplined enough for oils. And I like instant gratification... It can take some colors weeks to dry. I may not be cut out for it. But I'm watching Bob Ross on YouTube just in case.
